On January 31st (ie, the 7th day of Lunar New Year), at the stadium of Dung Phong commune (Cao Phong), the People's Committee of Cao Phong district held Khai Mua Muong Thang Festival in the spring of 2020. The leaders from the appropriate authorities of the province, the leaders from the People's Committees of the districts and the city and a large number of people in the district attended the festival.

Lac Son district of Hoa Binh province is home to 31 historical – cultural relic sites and scenic landscapes, including three at the national level, 11 at the provincial level, and two others currently seeking the provincial recognition.

The festival is held on the 4th of lunar January every year at Tien Pagoda, Phu Lao commune, Lac Thuy district.

The festival is held on the 8th of lunar January every year in Muong Khen town, Tan Lac district.

The festival is held on the 7th and 8th of lunar January every year in Luy hamlet, Phong Phu commune, Tan Lac district

The festival is held on the 11th and 13th of lunar November every year at the communal house and temple of Vai in Thanh Nong commune, Lac Thuy district.

The festival is held on the 15th of lunar January every year at Pagoda Cave and Hang Pagoda in A Dong hamlet, Yen Tri commune, Yen Thuy district.
