The festival is held on the 8th of lunar January every year in Muong Khen town, Tan Lac district.
At the festival, visitors have a chance of enjoying the special performances of gongs with their marvellous sounds that echo off the mountains and forests. Visitors can take part in traditional games such that, after parting, they will long to come again.
