30,000 TOURISTS HAVE VISITED LAC SON DISTRICT

Lac Son district has many potentials for tourism development. In recent years, the district has preserved many caves with the archaeological values of Muong ancient people such as Stone roof-Vanh village (the national archaeological relic), locating at the foot of the White mountain in the territory of Vanh village, Yen Phu commune; Khu Dung cave (the provincial monument) in Vo hamlet, Nhan Nghia commune; restoring and preserving the traditional festivals of Muong people such as the Chieng Muong festival, the Voi festival and so on; protecting and embellishing the beauty spots to develop the local tourism.

Preserving and promoting Muong Bi cultural values

Tan Lac - Muong Bi is one of 4 Muong ancient areas of the province imbued with Muong cultural values with the rich and unique identity. On the basis of the beautiful natural scenery, the cultural space of Muong ethnic identity still exists in the people’s daily life and production. In particular, the culture of gongs, costumes, traditional occupations, festivals and cuisine of Muong ethnic people are unique and sophisticated. Tan Lac district has been focusing on conserving, preserving and developing these unique cultural values.

RECOGNIZING 11 VILLAGES OF LOCAL TRADITIONAL CRAFT

In the province, there are more than 1,000 typical trades and villages of local traditional craft such as brocade weaving, Can wine production, Lua wood, Do paper, rattan - bamboo knitting and so on. According to the target of the period from 2015 to 2020, 10 trade villages will be recognized but by the end of 2018, 11 villages have been recognized, surpassing 1 village compared to the target.

Yen Thuy district: Spreading the movement of building cultural residential areas

Recently, the movement of building cultural residential areas in Yen Thuy district has been enthusiastically responded by the local people. Every citizen and family are strictly implementing the regulations of the cultural residential areas. The movement of building the cultural residential areas cultural has been developed in both quantity and quality. In 2019, there were 104 out of the 115 cultural residential areas (accounting for 90.43%) meeting the standards of the cultural residential areas.
