30,000 TOURISTS HAVE VISITED LAC SON DISTRICT

Lac Son district has many potentials for tourism development. In recent years, the district has preserved many caves with the archaeological values of Muong ancient people such as Stone roof-Vanh village (the national archaeological relic), locating at the foot of the White mountain in the territory of Vanh village, Yen Phu commune; Khu Dung cave (the provincial monument) in Vo hamlet, Nhan Nghia commune; restoring and preserving the traditional festivals of Muong people such as the Chieng Muong festival, the Voi festival and so on; protecting and embellishing the beauty spots to develop the local tourism.

In the first 6 months of 2019, the Culture and Information Office of Lac Son district has extremely inspected the business and tourist accommodations; instructing a tourism management team of Mu Waterfall - Tu Do commune to issue a Decision of consolidating the tourism team, An announcement of assigning tasks for the members and a Regulation of this group; intensively promoting and introducing the tourist destinations of the district. In this time, 30,000 tourists have visited Lac Son district, including 370 international visitors. The total revenue of tourism has estimated at over VND 8.5 billion.
