Thac Bo Grotto lies in the range of the Chua Mountain near Hoa Binh Reservoir in Bung hamlet, Ngoi Hoa commune, Tan Lac district, Hoa Binh province. The grotto is on the northern side of the mountain range looking towards the river. Beyond the reservoir is the miraculous Thac Bo Temple
