Currently, Kim Boi district has 5 monuments which is ranked national and provincial level. In particular, Dong Thech ancient tomb area (Vinh Dong commune) is a national archaeological relic.

Tien Phi Grotto is situated on the top of Thuc Hill, also known as Thung Phi Hill, in Gai hamlet, Tan Hoa ward, Hoa Binh city, Hoa Binh province.

The Water Cave and Thien Ton Grotto lie inside the two mountains adjacent to each other, Nuoc and Mieu, in the complex of 99 mountains in Ngoc Luong commune, Yen Thuy district. Inside the Thien Ton Grotto are a numerous stalagmites and stalactites in marvellous and fascinating shapes. The cool, clear water in the cave infiltrates hundreds of meters into the mountain.

Nam Son Grotto is located inside Ngoc Son-Ngo Luong Nature Reserve and situated on halfway of Thung Ton Mountain in Ton village, Nam Son commune, Tan Lac district. This is master piece of nature with the two marvelous stone grottoes and a deep, cool and limpid lake

By the road named 436 and 86 km fromHoa Binh city, in A Dong hamlet, Yen Tri commune, Yen Thuy district, there stands an imposing mountain named Lang Tieu Mountain. Situated inside this mountain are Van Quang Grotto and the two ancient pagodas secluding themselves in the rock, the Thanh Lam Tu and Hang Pagodas

The relic of Thac Bo Temple is one destination contained in the tourism circuit around Hoa Binh Reservoir that every year attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors who come to admire and worship.

In the course of revolutionary mobilization for the August General Offspring in 1945, in Hoa Binh Province, four revolutionary bases were successively formed within the Hoa-Ninh-Thanh base systems, including Muong Khoi Base (Lac Son District); Cao Phong-Thach Yen Base (Cao Phong District); Tu Ly-Hien Luong Base (Da Bac District); Muong Diem Base (Da Bac District).

Besides, each ethnic group has its own forms of cultural activities, for example, pan-pipe dance of the Mong, drum dance, xenh tien dance, the bell dance of the Dao and the spreading dance of the Thai.

Hoa Tien Grotto lies within the limestone range, Ba Mountain in Ngoi hamlet, Ngoi Hoa commune, Tan Lac district, Hoa Binh province. About 1km from this relic to the east, there is a large, clear lake called Fairy Lake by the inhabitants.

Muoi Cave lies at the foot of Khen Mountain in Muong Khen town, Tan Lac district, some 29 km from Hoa Binh city along Highway 6.

Le Loi’s Stone Stele is also known as the ancient stone stele named Hao Trang carved on a huge rock on a mountainside next to Thac Bo in Hao Trang commune, Da Bac district. On a good day of lunar March in the Year of the Mouse (1432), the Fifth Year of Thuan Thien, en route back from the battlefield, King Le Thai To composed a poem for generations to come, has formed the basis of the moral philosophy of fighting against an enemy, which can be rendered as follows:

Cho Cave is a national archaeological relic lying in Hui hamlet, Cao Ram commune, Luong Son district, Hoa Binh province, 42 km from Hoa Binh City to the North-East and 40 km away from Hanoi capital.

Mo Luong Cave lies inside Pu Kha Mountain in Mai Chau town and Chieng Chau commune, Mai Chau district. The main entrance to the cave is in Mai Chau town and the subordinate entrance is along the water current in Chieng Chau commune.

In 1926, a French archaeologist, Madelene Colani, conducted a survey of caves and grottoes in the limestone mountain valley of Hoa Binh province. There, Colani carried out the excavation of 20 archaeological sites, discovering a rich collection of objects, the majority of which were stone tools made by striking or paring stream cobbles in a rudimentary way. After the excavation results, in her research work entitled “Stone Age in Hoa Binh Province” published in 1927, Colani introduced the term “Hoa Binh Culture” to name this culture and it was officially accepted by scientists at the first Far East Prehistoric Institute Conference held in 1932.
